Ivan Hadjiiski's work contains the sociological and anthropological quintessence of the Bulgarian way to the modern times. This time has not yet passed, even though we have entered its final phase and even avant-garde authors have already adapt to postmodernity.

Bulgarian sociologists during the transition made efforts in projects sponsored by private units with a logical final result - a picture of one or another part of the whole. The great project, the foundation of which was laid by the great Hadjiiski, remains incomplete. This remains in the hands of the young, unknown generation of Bulgarian scientists - sociologists, social psychologists, anthropologists.
