The Bulgarian: the Naked Truth

In this luxuriously printed volume are collected nude photographs of Bulgarians dated from the first half of the last century. Here you can see Bulgarians of all ages demonstrate the beauty of their bodies - dressed barely or ... butt naked. Starting with Tsar Boris III and going through famous intellectuals like the painter Nikola Tanev or unknown plain folks - the photographs give comprehensive visual information about the Bulgarians trough the Third Bulgarian Kingdom. They are most often taken during war and peace, on beaches, from the Carpathians to Lake Ohrid and the Aegean Sea, and rarely in a photo studio. Small additional texts allow you to feel the smell of our mentality in the past. Almost all pictures are from the author's personal collection and published for the first time in this book.
