Latin Language. Learning Aid for Medical Specialties

Twenty years after the first edition of this textbook, the content has to be updated, while retaining its purpose for the medical specialties such as Nurses, Midwives, Kinesitherapists, Health management and others.

The learning material is structured in fifteen thematic units. Each of them contains a grammatical focus on the most used cases in medical terminology: Nominativus and Genitivus. The grammatical material is illustrated with terms separated by A (anatomical terminology), B (clinical terminology) and C (pharmaceutical terminology). The individual thematic units include the Greek doublet forms of the Latin names in detail. This allows tracking the differences between anatomical and clinical terminology. The textbook contains a thematic unit "recipe", in which the present principles of recipe writing are synthesized.
