This book is a start of a series that will introduce readers to the rich heritage of ancient Egyptian literature. The editions will contain hieroglyphic text, transliteration, translation, grammatical, and historical commentary. The series is intended for Egyptian students as well as for all who want to learn more about the culture and language of Ancient Egypt.

The present study is the first translation in Bulgarian of one of the most popular ancient Egyptian works - The Stories of Westcar Papyrus. The work is of utmost importance because it is the basis of the study and contemporary understanding of the ancient Egyptian language.
