Between Heaven and Lu

Jo plans to enjoy a happy retirement, but his wife Lu is leaving earlier than expected. Before she dies, Lu assigns him a mission: to make their children truly happy. It will not be easy for him to fulfill her dying wish, for, devoted to his work, Jo is far away from them. Gradually, however, Jo learns about a number of traumatic events in the lives of his closest relatives that explain many of their actions. Sharing the suppressed feelings helps them find a way to each other, become more loving and united, and for Jo to overcome the sorrow and despair of his wife's loss and to return the taste to life.

Between Heaven and Lu shows us that it is never too late to reconnect with our deepest self. It is a novel about love and sorrow, about family relationships and the forgiveness.
