Balli Kaur Jaswal

Balli Kaur Jaswal is a Singaporean novelist, having family roots in Punjab, region.

Balli was born in Singapore and grew up living in countries such as Japan, Russia, the Philippines, Australia and the US. She has received writing fellowships from the University of East Anglia and Nanyang Technological University and was named Best Young Australian Novelist of 2014 by the Sydney Morning Herald.
