Description

Yordan Anastasov is one of the most dignified and authoritative figures of the Macedonian-Odrin Revolutionary and Legally Left Movement of the 20-30s and the 40s to the 70s of the last century. However, his activity and creativity are almost unknown today. If you unfold the bibliographies on the Macedonian question, you will see how huge the number of his contributions is, as is undoubtedly his place as a journalist and publicist. And now, four decades after his death, he is still a recognized authority in the field of social legislation and pensions, unfortunately, unnoticed by all the men in power.

The documentary part of this volume includes important documents for the participation of Y. Anastasov in VMRO, which are mainly stored in the Archive of the Comintern and in the Central State Archives in Sofia, as well as valuable and completely unknown documents of the trial against him during the period 1935-1936, including also unknown documents for his official and party inquiry in 1953.
