The direction for studying, explaining and evaluating Thracian history and culture from the transition between the Stone Age and the Early Bronze Age (the second half of the 4th millennium BC) to the creation of the Danubian Bulgarian state in 681 is denoted by science as the term Thracology. The natural center for its emergence and development is Bulgaria, because the heart in which the top moments in the genesis, the life and the nature of the Thracian ethnos and its culture are matured and pulsating. Тhose are today's Bulgarian lands and more precisely the Danube to The Aegean coast and its adjacent islands. They form the nucleus of the Thracian diaspora, which in its historical existence extends over a vast territory. In different periods, this settlement also covers the lands of the Carpathians to the Danube, areas of Anatolia, covering the areas of the Northern Black Sea coast, the Caucasus, the Danube, various points of the Eastern Mediterranean, and also the Bosphorus, Egypt, North Africa and the Roman provinces . The last places mark the periphery of the Thracian diaspora.
