Spiral of Silence (East-West Publishing House) is a collection of 11 narratives, almost each of which has something to do with the other. The border police officer who may have killed and may haven't killed a Syrian child on the Turkish coast. And the gay couple who pours the drinks to everybody else. Each of the characters slides down to their own spiral of silence, convinced that what is not spoken, is their own business.
