In August 1997, I was fortunate to meet an extremely interesting person who, with a professional sense, enhanced the writer in me, hence the attentive listener.

My new acquaintance was a private detective hired by very wealthy people, who wanted to keep out of any disclosure not only of the results of the investigation, but of the crime itself that had happened in their home.

Without stating the names - for quite obvious reasons - my friend told me a lot of stories that I found difficult to believe. On the one hand, my consciousness did not find any logical contradictions in them; the motives of all the monster acts seemed quite natural.

I must especially note that practically all of my stories of betrayal and cruelty have remained unrevealed, though the detective, after a scrupulous study of all the facts, had made the whole truth clear to the slightest details ...
