Description

The sea is the sum of waves, and the sum of waves makes up a unity. Everything is the part of the cosmos, and in the cosmos everything is the manifestation of the same cosmic existence. The mystic is experiencing that all the differences between him/herself and other manifestations of existence cease. Mysticism is not beyond God and the world. Mysticism sees God and the world as indivisible One. But the tension between the two poles does not disappear. Like the tension between two ends of a stick. Likewise, God and the human being do not become identical. The sea, as it manifests itself in its waves. Although we call the sea and the wave in different names, their essence is the same: water. A hand has two sides. One who turns towards it with reason, has to observe both sides one after the other. From the inside, the two sides can be experienced as one. Thus, it is at once an experience of complete emptiness and perfect fullness.
