Description

Towards the end of the twentieth century a global process of cultural integration took place in the world, in which - thank God! - the always proud West, finally caught sight of the great resource potential of the East. The West include it in its cultural, productive and commercial interests, looking for "raw materials" for the vast territory from Siberia to Antipodes and from Gibraltar to the Japanese islands. The East, in turn, perceived an opportunity for its cultural identification and responded willingly to the creative challenge. In this process, Bulgaria has got its great chance and the Bulgarian contribution to it is the subject of the book "When the West Meets the East".
