The Greatest Parliamentary Circuses

In this book are collected the most spectacular performances that have taken place between the walls of the home of democracy since the Liberation to the present day: from Vassil Levski's hangman in 1879 until the election of Delyan Peevski as a deputy in 2013. The edition also follows famous events such as the process of building the National Assembly, the adoption of the woman right to vote in 1938, the birth of some parties, etc. This is a book about our national dignity in the highest state institution, turned into a show fair.

Rosen Tahov's book is a documentary work. It was built on the stenographic protocols of the National Assembly, personal diaries, memories of contemporaries, historical monographs, legal research. It is supported by a number of illustrations: photographs of the main actors, as well as the places where their clashes are being played; materials from our press as well as from western media, cartoons of prominent humor artists, letters ... To facilitate the publication is accompanied by a chronological table and also by a name index, as the people who took part in the Greatest Parliamentary Circuses are not a small group... Many of them have got also special nicknames and this, of course, is not missed.
