Tony Zarev was born in 1945 in Sofia. He graduated in medicine in 1972 and worked as a field therapist, ship physician and head of a medical establishment. Addicted to books, he has been involved in literary history and documentary for many years. Fruit of these biases is his two books: "Literary Detective" - a fascinating narrative of unknown and forgotten stories of personalities and events in our literary past, and "The Soul of the Book".
