In 2009, a collection of short stories entitledAndre mennesker(“Other people exist”) was published in Danish, followed by Czech, Turkish and Bulgarian editions.
The book is consisted of a series of short artistic stories about crises in life, about relationships with others, about people. Blecher discusses the ways people are hurt - tragic and comical - thinking that they live in a universe where they are the only one existing.
Stories are written in several different styles and told by different people - different in age, class and gender, but all - sharing an impossibility or difficulty: to see beyond; like most postmodern people, the characters in this book live in a mutual isolation, if it can be called that way, trying to connect with other people, but often fail in their attempts.
