This book explores some of the first texts that begin to appear in Ancient Egypt - biographical inscriptions. In science, there is still a dispute as to whether they can be distinguished as a separate genre of ancient Egyptian literature and whether they are literary at all. Texts from different historical periods were translated and a comparison was made showing the change in the thinking of ancient Egyptians.
