Description

The Ruling Political Parties in Bulgaria is a historical study of the leading political forces in our society since the Liberation to our day. The history of 39 political parties and organizations, leaders, governing bodies, foreign policy orientation, their participation in the legislative and executive power, preferred form of government, membership, social composition, political intentions, printed publications are presented.

The book contains a huge amount of information, part of which is published for the first time. It gives the reader the opportunity to get acquainted with the main political processes taking place in the Bulgarian society for the past 130 years and with the various political intentions and ideas that have led, among other things, to an unsuccessful national ideal, a fratricidal struggle between Russophiles and Russophobia, obedience to the The Great Powers, a frequent change of the Constitution. At the same time, there are examples of a policy of state formation and growth, national pride and heroism.

The "The Ruling Political Parties in Bulgaria" is part of the author's project of historical research of all political organizations that existed in Bulgaria (today they are about 350).
